The 2026 game, named in one line

This site covers the 2026 roguelite Deadly Days: Roadtrip — not the 2013/2014 free web game of the same short name. Pixelsplit developed it and Sidekick Publishing released it. Version 1.0, titled LOOT & SHOOT, landed on 29 Oct 2026 after Early Access opened on 22 Sep 2025.

You drive a run, fill a backpack, and let neighbouring items change each other. Launch coverage from Famitsu and AUTOMATON both say 12 survivors. The studio page still says “10+”, which is the older Early Access line. The banana is a costume, not a 13th survivor.

Facts I would check before buying

Steam’s US price on 2 Nov 2026 was $9.74, a 35% cut from $14.99. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S were $19.99 with no matching cut on those pages. Steam Deck is Verified. macOS and Linux are not listed as playable on Steam. Nintendo’s shop still carries the earlier game Deadly Days, which is not this one.

Steam’s English-language review summary showed 89% positive from 741 reviews at this check. That is a language subset, not an all-language percentage. PlayStation showed 4.95 out of 5 from 102 ratings. Both ratings are single-store snapshots; I do not blend them into one score.

What 1.0 actually added

The 1.0 notes add the Vampire, the boss Laz, 10 weapons (five of them craft-only), 16 items, a coffee stand, and a co-op pass that lets two backpacks touch. Early Access saves load. Guides filmed before 29 Oct 2026 are about a different balance: Katana went up 25%, Super Knife went from 280 to 224, and banish slots sit at 3, 6, then 12.

Fresh on 2 Nov 2026

1.0 has been out since 29 Oct 2026. The Steam sale at $9.74 was still up when these pages were checked. Console pages were still $19.99. The demo store app no longer opens.
