The chain is two sentences, not one
If you imported demo progress when Early Access opened in September 2025, that Early Access save is what 1.0 says it can read. If you only played the demo and never imported, there is no store page left to do it from, and no later post that says the demo file itself opens in 1.0. I keep that as a chain: demo into Early Access, Early Access into 1.0.
The demo build is the 2025 game. It does not include Vampire, Laz, or the 1.0 maps. Balance numbers from demo clips are not 1.0 numbers. The trailer below is the one Games Press pointed at, uploaded 4 Jun 2025.
| Demo unlocks to Early Access | Official Steam post, 16 Sep 2025 | 1 primary source |
| Early Access saves to 1.0 | Official Steam post, 29 Oct 2026 | 1 primary source · same publisher |
| Demo directly to 1.0 | No direct statement in those posts | Not established by the cited sources |
| Demo availability | App 3102400 store URL redirects to Steam home | 1 primary source |
What you cannot assume
Nobody published whether the transfer needed the same Steam account, or whether it was automatic. The four demo characters after the June update were not listed name by name in the posts I used. I leave both blanks empty rather than guess from a video title.
Questions
Is the demo still available?
Not on 2 Nov 2026. Steam app 3102400 no longer has a store page. The notes do not say whether that is permanent.
Does demo progress carry over?
On 16 Sep 2025 the studio said demo unlocks would transfer into the paid game at Early Access. The 1.0 notes say Early Access saves load. There is no sentence that says a demo save transfers directly into 1.0.
What was in the demo?
The 27 May 2025 post: 41 items, 11 of them weapons, 4 biomes, 13 or more maps, 3 characters, 6 enemies, 5 power-ups, 1 boss. A 9 Jun update added a fourth character.
